I recently had the pleasure of staying at Le Clos D'Usse during a family vacation. The proprietress was incredibly welcoming, guiding us to our spacious room before allowing us to unwind. The hotel, housed in a well-maintained historic building, offers a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern amenities, making it particularly family-friendly. Dinners at the hotel's restaurant were a highlight, featuring delightful three-course options that catered to various tastes, including vegetarians. With the picturesque Château d'Ussé just a short stroll away, evenings became serene family walks through the village. The hotel provides a secure spot for bikes, ideal for touring families. We especially enjoyed the chance to visit a small grocery store nearby for snacks. Breakfast was solid, though we did have to ask for hotter coffee-which was promptly addressed, showing the attentive service. A lovely experience at a place designed for family comfort.
